Real Money Poker for Android

There are lots of play money apps for Android like Zynga and Live Holdem Poker Pro, but I find that play money poker quickly gets extremely boring, and doesn’t represent real poker at all. If you’re used to playing for play money, then you’ll be used to several people being all-in every hand and this simply isn’t reflective of real poker. I find that even playing really low stakes, where the blinds are $0.01/$0.02 gives a much better game and people are more cautious and try harder to win, despite the fact that there are only a couple of dollars at stake. In terms of real money poker for Android and what sites are best, many of the big players have developed apps and here at Android Poker Sites we’ve reviewed them all, so here are our top 3:

#1 Real Money Poker Site for Android: www.888poker.com

888 used to be known as Pacific Poker in the early days of online poker, and they were one of the pioneers of the game, but they didn’t touch their software for years and got left behind. In the last couple of years though, owners 888 Holdings re-branded the poker site as 888poker and spent millions overhauling the software; now they have one of the best online poker clients going, with novel features like webcam tables where you can actually see your opponents.

What’s more, their Android app is one of the best on the market and if you choose to play there, you’ll be able to take advantage of the huge amount of bad players that call 888 their poker home. Read the full 888 poker review here.

#2 Real Money Poker Site for Android:www.redkings.com

You may not know Red Kings, but they’re a growing brand in online gaming. They have teamed up with the Ongame network to run their poker games and Ongame have developed a nice app. For the moment only cash games are available, but it’s looking like multi-table tournaments and sit n go tournaments will be added soon.

The nice thing about having an account at Red Kings is that you can also use their mobile sports betting app and the mobile casino from the same account balance. The games at Red Kings are good, but they’re not quite as soft as those at 888 where we found it a bit easier to make some money. Read the full Red Kings review here.

#3 Real Money Poker Site for Android: www.terminalpoker.com

Rounding out our top 3 is Terminal Poker. They’ve taken a unique approach to Android poker. Firstly, you don’t need to download anything, you can play the games from within your browser. Secondly, when you’re playing at Terminal, you’re not stuck at a single table rather you’re in a pool of players and as soon as you fold your hand you’re taken away to a new table with other players who have just folded and a new hand begins. This makes the action REALLY fast.

The final impressive thing about Terminal is that they’ve just added multi-table tournaments with guaranteed prize pools to their app which are a great addition. Up until now they only had freeroll tournaments but now there are several guaranteed tournaments running every day. The only downside to Terminal is that it’s not as busy as the other sites. The action there is only really in the evening time CET and on the weekends, and it’s typically pretty low stakes. Real the full Terminal Poker Review here.
